about

THE JIMMY C - ORBITAL DEBRIS
Orbital Debris, like the "space junk" that inspired it's name, is an album
of music that was floating around in space - the creative space
in The Jimmy C's head. Like a home made spaceship, The Jimmy C's
music wants to escape it's limitations and rise above expectations.
There's no specific genre and no pigeon hole for this music yet there's
a unifying flavour that pays homage to the classic albums of the late 60's
and early 70's. The songs segue into each other like a concept album
and almost like a mix tape or a "Nuggets" album, each song has it's own
flavour and could have been performed by a different band. But it's
not many bands. It's not even one band. It's Jamie Coghill, a self taught
multi-instrumentalist who loves the music, creativity and sense of humour
of bands like; Tomorrow, Slade, Ween, The Pretty Things, The Idle Race,
The Move, Klaatu and The Zombies - just to name a few. Some know
Jamie as the drummer from Luxedo, Fez Perez and The Devilrock Four
(a few bands who almost got somewhere), others know him from his
own music (as The Jimmy C) and his soundtrack music from
The Adventures Of Superseven web series.
